KALOUM DJEMBE PERCUSSION
Created in 2015, Kaloum Djembe Percussion is comprised of Fode Lavia's students both from his home neighborhood of Kaloum as well as the USA. It was Fode's goal to put together a group of the next generation of artists in Kaloum as well as give a professional training opportunity to his students coming to Guinea. Since it's inception, KDP has been the headliner act at the Kaloum Djembe Festival in Conakry and has also hosted numerous free shows for the public in the neighborhoods of Kaloum.
