PAcking list
Some Recommended items to make your trip smooth. KEep in mind you have two 50 lb checked bags plus your carry on BAG and personal item. It is recommended to pack all of your necessities in your carry on items as sometimes checked bags will get delayed in the international transfers. 

MEDICAL
  • Anti-Malaria Medication (Highly recommended)
  • Cipro or other travel sickness antibiotic
  • Emergen-C 
  • Immodium
  • Probiotics
  • Tylenol/Advil
  • Basic first aid kit
  • Hand sanitizer
CLOTHING
  • Shorts/ Breathable pants 
  • Short sleeve/tank tops (plan for 2 a day)
  • Comfortable shoes for walking 
  • Flip flops/Slides/Sandals for showering (You can also get them in the market for $1-5)
  • Nice clothes/shoes to wear out or to events (You can also have clothes tailor made in a day or so in Conakry if you'd like!)
  • Bathing suit
  • Towel and Pillow Case (Optional: Addtl Sheets)
  • Comfortable sleeping clothes - it is still HOT at night

  • Mosquito Net (Pop up kind is better than hanging)
  • Powerbank Charger 36,000mAh (Especially the solar kind)
  • Charger adapter (also available in market for $1)
  • Small crossbody bag / waist pack
